Ms. Joyce Newell, my English teacher, is on the road to recovery. She had been in the ICU, but has now moved to a regular hospital room. She had a septic infection that wreaked havoc in her body, and she still has a way to go in the recovery process. But, we’re all relieved to hear that she is better.
The second semester began this week. Report cards and annotated IEPs will be mailed home at the end of next week. The report cards include the second quarter grades, the mid-term exam grades (which get calculated into the quarter grade), and the semester grades. If you have any questions regarding any of the grades, feel free to contact your student’s teacher.
I hope Ms. Newell comes back soon and I miss her!
